@ElshadKarbasi Guys; the letter is from me in my department: read my response

Recent hospital letter for Dad. In it, his consultant is referred to simply as firstname lastname, no titles or postnominals... Simple oversight perhaps but it's small things like this that are contributing to the disrespect and destruction of the medical profession in the UK.

@ElshadKarbasi So, that is me. Jonathan Hoare, qualified for 30 years, consultant for 18 years. Thanks for the concern but I do not feel disrespected! Hard work and kindness to patients and colleagues is what brings respect, there is no substitute. Titles mean next to nothing.
