No one should go see the Odyssey film. Go rent Troy instead. It’s timeless. Majestic. Strong. Hollywood has to be sent a message about forcing wokeness on us. This film is a test to see if they can get away with it as long as they use A list actors and one of the great directors of all time. They must be shown contempt for this. The film will do well overseas and it will make big $ but we can make enough of a dent to send a message. So we should.

American McGee's Alice (2000)

Coworker “you know they can tell art created by 90’s kids because they put the sun in the upper corner. Coworker no.2: really? Kids don’t put the Sun in their picture anymore? Me: 😂no, kids today paint an iPad in the corner 😂 Coworkers 1&2: 🤨🤨

Here’s why I bring this up. How does this insistence on absolute silence accommodate young families with small, active children? Because, it seems as if this same insistence carries over from Adoration to Mass too and it’s not realistic to expect children to maintain silence.

As I enter my 30th year of being very happily married to a woman way out of my league, I have a message to young men: there is a secret to a successful relationship, it's being best friends with another couple where the man is a useless buffoon

Movies my parents let us watch that were way less appropriate than I would allow for my kids at the age I watched them: T2, Spaceballs, The Lost Boys, Blues Brothers, Highlander, Ghost, Weekend at Bernie’s, The Stand (TV), Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Joe vs. The Volcano, Big, Short Circuit, Kindergarten Cop, Problem Child… There are a lot more. More than a few also that I would never allow my kids to watch, nor watch again myself. Including some I think it’s absolutely a mortal sin to watch.

Right, if homeschooling is actually super high quality, then homeschooling families should not object to being evaluated, tested, and checked-in-on to make sure their kids are actually learning.

What’s your honest opinion on hand-holding during the Our Father?

You ever drop a deuce so bad you want to throw your plunger away afterwards?
