@AlchemistsWorks The death of Nemiel in ' Descent of Angels'. First time I'd felt a bit shocked by a 40k book "the seneschal was not sure what happened next. The lion moved and a split second later a cracked skull faced helm was spinning...nemiels headless corpse clattered to the floor'

If you were the newly appointed Health Secretary, what's the first thing you'd do to improve young people's mental health?

@ChloeBellerbyMH Scars tell a story and like the decisions behind the tattoo we have or the hair style we chose, it's about the meaning they have to us. Scars can be a story of pain, but they can also be a story of recovery and thriving from past pain. I hope you continue to love all parts of you

There are some days that I absolutely HATE my scars and what I did to my body. There are some days when I wish that I could start over, and days where I hate my body. The truth is that acceptance is about understanding they will always be there, and choosing to embrace them. ❤️

@TheReelAnna It's important to share because it helps remind us that millions in world suffer. Use what resources you can to help be it friends, family, free app around challenging negative thoughts or professional help if needs be. It's ok, not to be ok

Today my brain keeps trying to tell me I’m a burden & a waste of life. I know it will eventually pass like it always has, but it’s really hard in the midst of it. 😔 It still feels so scary to share this kind of thing, but I know how it can sometimes help us not feel alone.

Today, at 5:00pm ET (3:00pm PT), we will be deploying some backend fixes to continue to improve stability. We anticipate a 15 minute window of maintenance where players may encounter a brief window of downtime.

@HariaKhushi @YoungMindsUK @DizzyDoodler Couldn't agree more. In the defence of GPs they are often expected to make referrals off very little Information or currently based on a telephone call. This results in little information and it being sent back

@YoungMindsUK @DizzyDoodler I would be curious if there is reasearch on the quality of referrals made 🤔. Also whether those services where there is options for other professionals to refer makes a difference. My experience is many miss basic information incl a risk assessment!

In a survey we asked GPs: ‘When I make a referral to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, I am usually confident that this will result in treatment.’ 41% strongly disagree 36% disagree 14% neither agree or disagree 8% agree 1% strongly agree 1% don’t know

For many this is becoming the most difficult part of lockdown. We’ve already been through so much, and time can feel slower when there is an end in sight. Continue to take one day at a time. Be gentle with yourself. Ask for help if you need it.
