Why are people acting like this isn't a retcon. It's continuity added retroactively that wasn't originally there. This doesn't mean it's bad but it is a retcon lol

@DoomAssistMe @sorayatokyo While I did put the idea forward, I wouldn't say they "represent" them as much as there's just a reflection of it in each example. In much the same sense as anyone imbues their writing with their life experience.

@sorayatokyo Oh! How interesting! I never would have thought of it that way! I never really thought the couples were meant to represent you two specifically. When you said Takahashi-san was the romantic and you wrote more the political and war drama it really made a lot of sense looking back!

@Hobstranat Some people assume those couples represent us, but I think their romantic aspect (e.g. between Fei & Elly, Shion & Kevin, Shulk & Fiora, Elma & Alois, Rex & Pyra Mythra Nia, Noa & Mio) is just representing the inner masculinity and femininity of Tet himself.

@Hobstranat The premise of the sequel Lords of War (2027) is out already. Yuri discovers that he has another son Anton (Bill Skatsgård) who tries to outdo his father by raising his own army of mercenaries.

When I heard that a sequel of Lord of War is coming, I wondered what if the protagonist Yuri's late brother Vitaly had a son (Vitaly had a serious girlfriend in his later years), ironically Yuri raises him as a successor (cast Dacre Montgomery here), meanwhile Yuri's own son Nikolai who left his father in childhood becomes a federal agent (cast Austin Butler). That's all Just my imagination, though. 🤔💭

@rclark98 I dunno if it's as much outdated as people tend not to differentiate it from performance capture. Like, your work on RDR2 was performance capture, but some other games' performances are mostly in the booth.

100%. Labeling all performances in gaming ‘voice acting’ has been inaccurate for over 20 years.

I hate this kind of post so much. Just because a character isn’t a fucking Kenpachi who steamrolls almost every fight doesn’t automatically make him a bum. For God’s sake , Shinji was a Captain. You can literally see him giving Grimmjow, one of the strongest Arrancar, a legitimate hard time.
