HNJ has been busy off the ice this May! Our girls saw the cherry blossoms at Weequahic Park and Turtle Back Zoo Our co-ed groups took in the Liberty Science Center and visited the Newark Museum of Art These experiences help our student-athletes grow in every aspect of life.

We’re proud to announce that Hockey in New Jersey will officially join the #MAWHA (Mid-Atlantic Women’s Hockey Association) for the 2025–26 season! This is a huge step forward for growing the girls game and creating more competitive opportunities for our athletes in the region.

ALUMNI UPDATE: Congrats to Hockey in New Jersey Alum, and current University of Michigan freshman Olivia Barbas on getting accepted for an internship at Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment and the New Jersey Devils! Everyone here at HNJ is so proud of you!

Congratulations to HNJ Ambassador Jack Hughes on being nominated for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy. This award is given to the NHL player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and who has made a significant humanitarian contribution to his community.
