Today, we celebrated the first-ever Hodan Nalayeh ChangeMaker awards @HodanNalayehSS. Three remarkable students were recognized for their incredible contributions, and each received a $5,000 check. Hodan's legacy lives on through these inspiring individuals who embody her passion

Hodan's Story, as told by her friend and filmmaker Dwayne Holness @dukeydukez, is a film about her life, which was one of passion, inspiration, and ultimately of tragedy. Hodan’s Story will premiere on Sat. Oct. 8th at 8pm on CBC @cbcgem.

In honor of Hodan, 15 people summitted Mount Kilimanjaro in the month of July all while raising over 340K for education. Giving back was one of the ways Hodan uplifted people and we will always keep that inspiration wish us! @HodanNalayehSS
