Puckpedia, other sites rock & are amazing resources. Just be careful how you look at projected cap numbers. It counts guys that may not be on the opening roster. Puckpedia shows Heinen, LDBB, Copley on roster for instance.

@mark_scheig Dostal is 5 by $6.5M. He had a better season than Dostal and so far in his career better stats given about 100 less games played though. Anything under $6M would be a win for the team. His number is not far off!

A big gap? Definitely. The one good season argument plus inflation. Midpoint of these numbers is about where Greaves would land on a longer term deal. Neither side has incentive to reach the hearing. Would be a first for both #CBJ and Don Waddell if it reached the arbitrator.

@mark_scheig Yeah Ducks have a lot of cap space as well but $18M is nothing small. Granted Ducks have more youth that are performing better that will need big paydays but NHL GM’s are smelling blood in the water.

I've defended Verbeek, but he has nobody to blame but himself for this. Everyone is done seeing negotiations drag into training camp, agents and players included. Massive wakeup call for him in the worst possible way.

There is a report out of Sweden going around that #CBJ Isac Lundestrom has torn his Achilles.
The Blue Jackets are aware of this but are awaiting more information at this time.
If it's worst case scenario, it could cost Lundestrom most of 2026-27.
