@joshtweeterson I would argue they’re talking about different things here. Dannen talking more general roster numbers schools reporting 60 million dollar rosters. Saying take that with a grain of salt not necessarily saying Nebraskas roster being cheap.

Trev Alberts's stadium plan was 150-200m less expensive, he got significant pushback. This one comes when the NIL conversation is more pronounced than it was 2.5 years ago when Trev's plan was announced. Why is Dannen's plan more palatable than Trev's? Is it the salesman?

@joshtweeterson My honest opinion is I think donors are more willing to give to the stadium than NIL I really do think it’s different money than would have gone to NIL stadium has a definite ROI, revenue generation effect. NIL does not.

@joshtweeterson And, it’s cyclical, stadium generates more revenue, Athletics has more revenue to share, NIL increases. I think in the long run this helps, not hurts, NIL.
