HOLBROOK ACADEMY We look forward to welcoming Destiny Africa Choir from 13th November. They will be performing at Holbrook Academy on the 14th and 15th November. Doors open at 6.30pm, performance starts at 7.00pm. Tickets available from office - £5 adults, £3 concessions.

On behalf of all the staff and students at Holbrook Academy it is my pleasure to congratulate HM King Charles III and HM Queen Camilla on their coronation.

Holbrook Academy students have enjoyed dress up day at the Academy. The entire year group joined in with the fun. We had Men in Black, dinosaurs, James Bond, Chipmunks, Aliens and many other characters from both books and screen.

A huge thank you to Sufiya Ahmed for visiting our school yesterday. Sufiya is a celebrated author and her titles include; Secrets of the Henna Girl, Under the Great Plum Tree, Rosie Raja- Churchill’s spy and many others. All students enjoyed the workshops and discussions.

Holbrook Academy is continuing to celebrate Black History Month. This week students will be learning about Martin Luther King Junior.

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the Academy this evening during our hugely successful Open Evening. Holbrook Academy is looking forward to working with the next generation of young people in our community.

As we prepare for the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Staff and students at Holbrook Academy will be taking time to pay our respects and give thanks for an extraordinary life of service and devotion. Our thoughts and prayers are with Her Majesty and family.

It was wonderful to see so many parents and students at our Year 10 Open Evening, yesterday at Holbrook Academy. We are excited to work with so many talented young people and to help them achieve their goals for the future.

We are excited to announce our Virtual Taster event taking place on 9th February 2021. This will be a great opportunity to meet our teaching teams and learn about the subjects we offer.

Drinking this tonight as I remember our dear Headteacher, Dr Simon Letman, this Christmas. Taken from us far too soon, his memory and legacy live on, never to be forgotten. To infinity, and beyond!! @HolbrookAc
