@JordanFreemanTW @TheSugarGuy Here's the thing: Strive selling 3 million is why I get to play XRD with buttery netcode and ignore Strive. The ship has sailed and if you don't like the game you have two other Guilty Gear games with flawless netplay and thriving communities.

This may sound backwards because of the art direction, but Virtua Fighter is basically an anime fighting game - like Guilty Gear or Blazblue, it offers you completely vile offensive mix, far more insane than Tekken, but it also has completely ludicrous defensive options as well

Having actually played Virtua Fighter some of the things people say about the game on here to Tekken players is completely insane. You can just lie about games nobody plays and nobody knows enough to say anything

And this is when you have them in a mixup they can't just OS. if you tick throw, and I send knee, you fucking lose the game while you're super plus. It's just how it goes in VF.

I think the most salient point about the VF v Tekken comparison is that often times not only do these mixups happen to you, but they can happen to you on your own offense if you aren't in strict nitaku, and even then step jab/elbow vs yolo launch is still a mixup you have to take

Likewise, Virtua Fighter has some of the most absolutely wretched offensive mixups ever put in a fighting game - multiple times a round in the normal course of play against a character like Goh, you are put in a vile multi-way mixup where multiple sides do 40-60%

@omegalid It's probably the best thing. If we can get back to like, Ogre patch, or the second Uzuki patch, power level with a few nerfs then I think a lot of people would be happy.

While I don't think they'll ever fully fix the PC port in ways to stablize it, if the game was back to being closer to the Ogre or 2nd Uzuki patch it would go a long way in helping me want to play the game again.

The true gain here is that we are getting more support, and that the emergency patch isn't a forever patch. Hopefully fpan have taken to heart what people have said about the game over the past few months since Izumi dropped.
