One of the most illuminating management texts may be this WWII guide to sabotage for civilians from the CIA's precursor. Look at the ideas for sabotaging office tasks to cause demoralization & delay. Recognize any? I wrote about how to solve these issues: oneusefulthing.substack.com/p/how-to-have-…

Today I gave a talk to 75 people seated around the single largest table I've ever seen. It weighs 4,500 lbs and I can confidently say I've sailed on boats smaller than it. Thanks to @PeterFleischut and @DanielJBarchi for the opportunity to share our work!

@Dr_Oubre That is set by your healthcare system. Archiving is coming but retention is set by healthcare system

@HoldenGroves @Dr_Oubre A MAR in the emergency med physician view - I know there's an ED course and ways to view the ED events. A MAR is needed for boarders - it would be so much safer. Make it so that residents can't enter attending notes and edit.

@AMinalyan @Dr_Oubre I also realize that sometime i forget to add the patient then i have to start a new chat which is annoying. good idea.

@HoldenGroves @Dr_Oubre The ability to: 1) add the patient to the message that you already sent to another provider via secure chat (and forgot to add the patient) 2) remove the provider that you accidentally added to the chat Agree with other suggestions! EPIC🙌❤️

@HoldenGroves @Dr_Oubre HOLDEN glad to see this! Can we fix the glitch that unavailable providers can still be added to group chats?

@HoldenGroves @loganciclovir @Dr_Oubre Hey there, coworker! I believe Logan is asking for a sound-based alert when a new message is received, similar to other instant-messaging platforms. Definitely make this toggle-able and off for providers by default though 👌

@dr_missyhanna @Dr_Oubre You mean make the experience more fluid by consolidating the notification so that you are only pinged once for a block of 3-4 messages? I'll think abotu how other messaging services handle this.

@HoldenGroves @Dr_Oubre Is there a way to make return not send a message and force hitting the send button? I hate that people hit enter and pop off 3-4 messages as if texting friends. So many extra messages and in the middle of the night my secure chat is my pager and goes off with each message. 😩

@Doc4Babies @Dr_Oubre This is great idea - like pause notifications while im rounding for a bit so I can concentrate

@HoldenGroves @Dr_Oubre I would like a “hold notifications” for (choose time) so I can complete orders during a “safe hours” window without having 20 messages pop up when nurses know they are not supposed to bother in-person for routine issues.

@HoldenGroves @Dr_Oubre I would love to be able to use dot phrases in secure chat. I frequently am NOT the right person being chatted and could make a dot phrase with different service phone numbers to direct the query.

@draarabhi @Dr_Oubre This is a really good point. we are working on making it easier continue the conversation instead of starting a new one.

@HoldenGroves @Dr_Oubre Would love it if messaging was a bit more like texting, where all convos with one person for a patient show up in one thread! Having multiple threads between me & nursing or RT for the same patient drives me nuts
