Dr Eastland Christopher Staveley, a British Zionist GP, was dismissed from his private practice in January 2026 after online comments emerged in which he appeared to call for the killing of Palestinian babies. Replying to a comment about “babies being sniped” by the IDF, he said: “Not enough but I’m sure they can add 2 more.” In another comment, he said: “Because once all the hostages are back home, Israel can raze Gaza to the ground and the West Bank. We get our people back and then we unleash the fires of hell.” However, it has since emerged that Dr Staveley is still practising medicine, as shown by his active GMC registration. Friends of Al-Aqsa is leading a petition calling for Dr Staveley’s immediate suspension from medical practice and the revocation of his licence.
