During today's Khutbah in the Umayyad Mosque of Damascus, the Imam not only mentioned Palestinian detainees, but also the Rohingya & Uyghurs. No one understands the plight of detainees more than Syrians. This Khutbah was only made possible because of the victory alhamdulillah
@syriansupremacy Not just views but understanding. Its not enough if theyre anti Assad they need to understand the rev & give weight to the depth of oppression Syrians experienced. Way too many inc Syrians miss the mark. This was a make or break it condition & alhamdulillah I found my man :D

I see that this 5Pillars readers’ poll has angered many of my Syrian brothers and sisters, and understandably so, because irrespective of this mainly UK-based poll, Ahmed al-Sharaa is hugely popular among Syrians, whether non-Syrians like him or not. We carried out similar reader polls when the Taliban took over in 2021 and when Muhammad Yunus took over after Sheikh Hasina was toppled in 2024. 5Pillars is not Syrian or Iranian state media. Our readership is predominantly Western, English-speaking Muslims in the diaspora, and there are differing views among our senior editorial staff about the Ummah’s geopolitical affairs. My personal views on Syria and its revolution are well known and documented since 2011. May Allah (swt) bring peace, security and prosperity to Syria and its people. Ameen.
