Judges matter. They shape the everyday lives of Americans, preserving our freedoms and defending our liberties. The 235 judges confirmed by my administration include a record number with backgrounds that have long been overlooked: advocates for civil rights, workers’ rights, immigrants’ rights, and more. We are already preparing for the “Ramstein” meeting – it is scheduled for the next week. Dozens of partner countries will participate, including those who can help boost our capabilities not only to defend against missiles but also against guided bombs and Russian aviation. We will discuss this with them and continue to persuade them. Lives need protection here and now in Ukraine, and air defense systems must be operational for this purpose. @epi_dude Absolutely. The timing of these H5N1 cases couldn’t be worse. Tons of H1N1 and H3N2 circulating, flu shot uptake is low as usual, and there are so, so many infected animals.

I have been continually briefed since early this morning regarding the horrific incident that occurred in New Orleans overnight. The FBI is taking the lead in the investigation and is investigating this incident as an act of terrorism.
