Empowering day at WOMB festival - a women’s wellness festival. Excellent to see our founder Molly in the Menstrual Advocacy panel alongside our friends at @Menstrual_H_P. We had so much fun making period positive posters in our workshop too!

Lush day at WOMB fest! Lovely to see old friends and make new. Chatting about periods, menopause, accessing healthcare, safer communities, conversations and stigmas!

Incredible to see Holly – the UK Government delegate to the Commission on Population and Development and a Plan International youth advocate – respond to a panel of experts to ask them how the #ICPD30 Programme of Action can be better adapted to respond to the rights of young girls and women. Holly’s response honoured the work and commitment that women, girls and young people have shown to progressing sexual and reproductive health and rights globally, but also highlighted that investment in comprehensive sexuality education, youth-friendly services, and meaningful youth engagement are vital to give girls and young people the ability to have control over their bodies and their futures. #CPD57 #ICPD30

At #CPD57, youth leaders spoke to leaders from govts of Sierra Leone, Benin, Zambia & Colombia about the importance of prioritising + investing in adolescent + youth #SRHR. We call on govts to step up & act on the #ICPD promise for girls @UNGEI @SheDecidesGFI @AdolescentPlan

This IWD week, I had the opportunity to speak with the UK’s Foreign Secretary about the progress and focus for sexual and reproductive health and rights. I was pleased to hear that SRHR is one of @David_Cameron’s top three political priorities for this year.
