I have a friend in Cuba and what they just reported should end careers in Washington. Every single patient on a ventilator in their hospital died tonight. The power went out. The ventilators stopped. This isn't a rare incident anymore. Cuba's grid has collapsed 3 times THIS MONTH. The hospital staff told them they've had more emergency deaths in the last 30 days than in all of last year combined. A patient with leukemia at a Havana hospital told reporters: "Without fuel or affordable transportation, life has only gotten harder. We are fighting every day." NICU babies are on bare minimum power right now. Dialysis patients are playing Russian roulette with every blackout. Cuba has received ZERO oil in 3 months. That's not a shortage. That's a blockade. The US blocked a Russian rescue mission — 730,000 barrels of oil heading to Cuba — turned it away. Then the official story went: "We're sending $6 million in humanitarian aid." $6 million in aid. 930,000 barrels of oil blocked. You can't fix ventilators with $6 million when the grid is dark. And Trump's own words from March 6, 2026: "Cuba will fall. After 50 years, this is the cherry on top of the cake." The people dying in hospitals tonight are his cherry on top. I'll keep you updated. Turn on notifications. 🚨

I am a Japanese citizen, and I oppose the attacks on Iran carried out by the U.S. government and Israel. I cannot forgive the tragedy in which American missiles took the lives of so many innocent children. Prime Minister Takaichi told President Trump, “Only Donald can bring peace and prosperity to the world,” but I do not share that view. Unlike Prime Minister Takaichi, the majority of the Japanese people oppose the U.S. government’s attack on Iran and hope for an end to the war as soon as possible. @oyamada_maki

The funniest thing happening in the world right now is the way the western political/media class is asking us to be shocked and outraged that Iran would attack US allies who are actively collaborating toward its destruction in an unprovoked war of aggression. It's hilarious. Think about how dehumanized the Muslim world would have to be in your perception in order for that kind of thinking to make sense. You'd have to see them as so unlike yourself that it would astonish and baffle you for them to be retaliating against unprovoked aggressions like any normal human being. Your view would essentially have to be, "Why are those Iranians hitting us back? Don't they know their role is to be killed, and our role is to do the killing? They've got the natural order of things completely backward!" Iran is fighting for its very existence as a state. Obviously it's going to respond aggressively toward everyone who's helping to destroy it. It's a symptom of a profoundly sick and twisted civilization that this would seem abnormal or surprising to anyone.

Unbelievable, insane night in the West Bank. Hundreds of Israeli settlers are rampaging across more than 15 villages and towns right now, torching homes, cars, and fields, and attempting to burn people alive. The Israeli army is showing complete failure and total indifference.

I have been reporting on and documenting settler terrorism in the West Bank for three years, and I have never seen anything like this. Tonight’s major pogrom across the West Bank was highly organized and fully backed by the Israeli government and the Israeli army. It did not happen in a vacuum -- it was fueled by incitement from Israel’s Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, and other Israeli Knesset members. If this tells us anything, it is that this is not the peak; it is a warning of something far worse that may soon unfold in the West Bank: Genocide and ethnic cleansing.

I don't want to be one of those people who wastes their time criticizing "hypocrisy" in foreign policy, but holy fucking shit, dude. Jesus Christ. My God. I will never, ever express sympathy for Israelis. Ever. Under any circumstances. To do so would be irresponsible, because Israel always weaponizes sympathy and then uses that weapon to commit mass atrocities. If the world gives Israel sympathy for civilians injured by an Iranian airstrike over the weekend in a war Israel started, by Friday they'll be using that sympathy to justify nuking Tehran. I don't enjoy holding this position. It goes against every natural human impulse inside me. But Israel, by its nature, has made it the only responsible position to hold. History has clearly established that the world was wrong to give Israel sympathy for October 7. The correct and moral thing to have done would have been for everyone to say "That's what you get for being a murderous apartheid state," and then sanction Israel into the Stone Age until they dismantled their abusive ethnonationalist regime. That would have been the right position for the world to take. And that's how we need to be with Israel going forward. No sympathy. No support. We've got to treat them the same way you'd treat a malignant narcissist who solicits sympathy and then weaponizes it at every opportunity. To do otherwise would be irresponsible. It's just not safe.

The Iranian regime devastated Arad and Dimona by deliberately striking civilians with missiles. Over 100 people were injured, including children. A blatant war crime. Pure terrorism.

It’s Unethical To Have Sympathy For Israelis, And Other Notes Israel’s Foreign Ministry has posted a statement on Twitter which reads, “The Iranian regime devastated Arad and Dimona by deliberately striking civilians with missiles. Over 100 people were injured, including children. A blatant war crime. Pure terrorism.” I don’t want to be one of those people who wastes their time criticizing “hypocrisy” in foreign policy, but holy fucking shit, dude. Jesus Christ. My God. We’ve got to treat them the same way you’d treat a malignant narcissist who solicits sympathy and then weaponizes it at every opportunity. To do otherwise would be irresponsible. It’s just not safe. ❖ Trump is now tweeting that “If Iran doesn’t FULLY OPEN, WITHOUT THREAT, the Strait of Hormuz, within 48 HOURS from this exact point in time, the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various POWER PLANTS, STARTING WITH THE BIGGEST ONE FIRST…” Iran has of course responded that if its power plants are attacked it will attack the energy infrastructure of US allies in the middle east, saying that “the critical infrastructure, energy infrastructure, and oil facilities throughout the region will be considered legitimate targets and will be destroyed irreversibly.” It’s starting to look like it’s only a matter of time before the US and/or Israel does something in Iran that makes the world a much darker place than it already is. Someone’s got to rein these psychopaths in. ❖ MAGA was an eleven-year practical joke where at the end the cameras come out and the prankster goes “Haha joke’s on you, we’re not making America great again, we’re going to war with Iran!” ❖ It’s so silly how the propagandists are trying to convince us to be concerned about an Iranian attack on a British-American airbase in the Indian Ocean. It’s the funniest thing happening in the world right now that the western political/media class is asking us to be shocked and outraged that Iran would attack US allies who are actively collaborating toward its destruction in an unprovoked war of aggression. It’s hilarious. Think about how dehumanized the Muslim world would have to be in your perception in order for that kind of thinking to make sense. It’s a symptom of a profoundly sick and twisted civilization that this would seem abnormal or surprising to anyone. ❖ So, like, we’re going to start having mass protests at some point, right? Against this horrific US-Israeli war of unfathomable consequence? I mean, that’s on the agenda, right? Because it would be really weird if it wasn’t.

My wife Yara tells me that the world has forgotten us, that no one is thinking about us anymore, and that she has lost hope. But I told her that the world still thinks about us, and that many people love us and stand with us. So I posted this tweet to prove to her that there are still many people who care about us and who love our children, Imad and Adam. So my friend, if you see this, please leave a 🍉 or 🇵🇸 or even just a dot(.). It gives my family hope and strength.

nytimes.com/2026/03/19/wor…
