This superb White-tailed Eagle graced Cley NWT for just an hour this morning before it flew off southwest. Very many thanks for the quick shout @Holtbirder. Lots more pics on cleybirds.com!

@AlanDaviesbirds @CleyBirds @LindaAizlewood Amazing! We saw a male Marsh Harrier mobbing something in the reeds. We assumed it was the Bittern, then this huge bulk rose from the reed-bed. We were absolutely flabbergasted. 🤩

Much better views of Pallas's Cat than the video suggests. Very windy up on the plateau. Soon after this we had to rush Dot to hospital due to altitude sickness. Much better now. Home Soon 🤞

ORCAS... Fabulous views of three Orcas as we stood on the cliffs at Sumburgh Head, Shetland this afternoon. Here's bull '72' passing us close inshore just off the lighthouse. He's a member of the '27s' pod and together with '73' and her calf '153', the threesome regularly 'split' from the main pod.

Some gripping photos of the Sibe Thrush on Shetland on social media but going back to September 1994 I believe Julian Bhalerao was the only one to get any shots of the Burnham Overy ST…and here they are. Legendary stories about late arrivals going into suaeda by torchlight!
