3am update: Non-severe storms are moving through the area from west to east. These storms are producing heavy rain and frequent lightning. There are no active warnings or watches in place. A flood watch goes into effect Friday night through Saturday morning. #wfaaweather

Here's the updated severe risk. The higher chance for severe weather is shifting south & east of the metroplex this afternoon & evening. This huge complex of rain has really worked over the atmosphere for many. That's why those areas have been downgraded or removed from the risk.
