Behind many home-based workers are elderly parents, sick relatives, and children who depend on them. When we talk about decent work, we must also talk about care systems. 🫱🏾‍🫲🏻 Join HNI in making #DecentWork a reality for HBWs: buff.ly/YkCANU3

12 years ago, the Rana Plaza disaster took the lives of over 1,100 garment workers. We remember the victims and stand in solidarity with their families demanding safety, rights, and mandatory human rights legislation to prevent similar tragedies from happening again. ✊🏾

🧒🏽🏡 For many home-based workers, #ChildCare is part of their daily unpaid care work. While they stitch, weave, craft, or assemble goods from their homes, they are also full-time caregivers, balancing production with the responsibility of raising the next generation.
