Nearly 200 legs – some with feet, some with paws – joined today’s fundraising dog walk in the countryside around Alresford. The guided walks ended with a delicious lunch organised by our amazing Events team and joined by the Mayor, Cllr. Vivian Achwal.

A sad day indeed! David has always been a good supporter of Home-Start Winchester. His wife April is a wonderful long-standing volunteer and a trustee until last year. We send our love to all the family.xxx

We are so sad that our own David Chidgey died peacefully earlier today following a period of illness. A good man, and a formidable campaigner, he won a stunning by-election in Eastleigh in 1994 and spoke passionately on a range of issues in both the Commons &Lords. RIP, kind sir.
