@ukJ0N Doesn’t bother me at all, he’ll be paying more in tax on his wage than he’ll receive in PIP. It’s the dossers that choose not to work and make up illnesses to then boost their benefits with PIP.

This will make your blood boil. James from Newcastle earns £200,000 per year with a disability, he applied to see if he qualifies for full PIP, and he does. Welfare Britain has gone mad. The system desperately needs complete reform and only Reform UK has the courage to sort it out once and for all. @talktv

@1988Hampshire @ukJ0N Anyone who has ever put in a PIP claim knows he's lying. You can't just see if you're entitled. You put in a claim which can take 18 months or more as most people get turned down & have to go to tribunal.

@ukJ0N There’s absolutely no way on earth that that guy is telling the truth I have autism, dyslexia, fibromyalgia, cptsd, depression and anxiety and I got turned down by pip and he’s saying he got offered £800 for dyslexia lies it’s as simple as that

When I was growing up, parents loved to say you’re the child, I’m the adult & for years I honestly thought that meant they had some secret manual I just hadn’t earned yet. But the older I get, the more I realize that sentence was usually code for I don’t know how to regulate myself either. Most of us are just overwhelmed kids in bigger bodies, trying to sound confident while our own wounds are screaming. Nobody teaches you that adulthood isn’t some magical upgrade, it’s just a bunch of former children trying to unlearn the things they were punished for, carrying whatever we never got to heal. And what gives me a lump in my throat is how many of us are choosing to do it differently & how many of us are giving it ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING we have. We’re learning to apologize, to regulate, to listen, to love without fear. We’re raising our babies with the tenderness we had to BLEED for. That’s the biggest plot best of growing up. That sneaky little arc in our stories…suddenly realizing you can become the adult you needed, even if no one showed you how.
