Pick rates straight up don’t decide who gets skins, period... Look at Psylocke — she’s got way lower pick rates than Spiderman or even Emma in diff szns, yet she already has 4 or 5 legendaries. How does that work? Emma has higher pick rates than Thor, Venom, Psylocke, Wanda, and Iron Man… but she’s sitting on just ONE legendary and just got two epic skins back-to-back. If we’re really going by pick rates like some people claim, Emma should be drowning in legendaries..... Also don’t forget there’s literally like twice as many DPS heroes as supports, so of course, supports are gonna have higher pick rates: smaller roster, more people forced to fill. That alone skews everything..... People play what’s meta and what feels rewarding. Spiderman is a 5-star difficulty hero and he’s STILL been top 5 picked DPS almost every season. Imagine if he got the same love and buffs Sue got… he’d probably be the most picked DPS in the game. But instead, support mains complained about him for seasons, devs gutted him, then gigabuffed Invisible Woman and showered her with legendaries back-to-back..... And yeah, people DO play for skins too — that shouldn’t even be controversial.... Also, Elsa being more picked than Spiderman doesn’t mean everyone “loves” Elsa more. She’s just meta and easy. If she had Spiderman-level difficulty or was as clunky as Black Widow, nobody would touch her. And remember everyone complained “why are they adding her. no one knows her...bla bla ?”… then proceeds to play her nonstop because she wins games. Meta defines pick rates, not “most loved” heroes. I love Cap, Storm and Rogue, I own every skin for them, but I can’t force them into every single comp....so I am playing tankpool, venom instead of my loved heroes...... Pick rates are a terrible way to decide skin priority.....

sue quite literally has the highest pick rate of all characters so in terms of marvel rivals she is in fact objectively more popular than spider-man

@leafsrivals If you want to learn tank, I would suggest Emma thing and Thor. Kit is easy and you can always be aggressive with them. For dps, I guess choose the one that looks visually cool 😭
