One thing I've learned is that trying to have a logical Messi vs. Ronaldo debate on social media is usually a waste of time. In contrast, I choose Ronaldo because he's football's all-time leading goalscorer, has won league titles in four countries, and has lifted five Champions League trophies, including three in a row. Neither of us is wrong because we're simply placing more value on different achievements, and that's exactly why these debates never have a definitive winner. The problem starts when people stop discussing football and start insulting anyone who doesn't share their opinion, rather than respecting that football is full of different perspectives.
