What are some great ways to start a new high fantasy campaign? How does the party meet? Let's set "You all meet in a tavern" aside. Classic, but let's hear from those that started their stories a different way. Where is a cool place for heroes to meet for the first time?

@SlyFlourish I think I do theater of the mind best when combat isn't happening in a fixed location. Say, fighting their way up a staircase or chasing down enemies in the woods. It especially feels more natural when the party is split. Most other times, I prefer the grid.
