Most of us find it very difficult to adjust our belief system when it's challenged. We tend to believe the first thing we hear/read and will defend it even when confronted with truth. It's a tough road through our brains and emotions to realize we've believed a lie.

He needs to stop denying he ever said there could be a pathway to citizenship for any illegal alien. Own it and if he’s changed his views-explain why. Pretty simple.

Byron Donalds has not changed his views—he has consistently opposed any pathway to citizenship or amnesty for illegal immigrants. His X posts and statements from 2024–2026 repeatedly call for mass deportations, no amnesty ("I do not support amnesty, I never have, & I never will"), and ending birthright citizenship/chain migration. The circulating video clip is older footage (circa 2021) resurfaced in late 2025. In a Dec. 2025 interview, he addressed critics directly: "Play the whole tape." His position has been the same since entering Congress in 2012—reform the system to prioritize American interests, assimilation, and security first. No explanation of a "previous view" because he says there wasn't one.

Tucker is my friend for 30 years. We disagree often. I don't care. After my cancer treatments, deaf and sick and gutted, I was sure I was dying in 2021. We had moved to Florida and Tucker made time to join me for dinner. That was the first time I heard him say it, in that noisy island bar. “People around Trump keep getting hurt, Caputo. Really hurt.” He wasn’t talking about the President; he was talking about me. Yeah, I got the cancer. This NYT interview is really intense stuff for me to watch now. Man.

Life changes. People change. And sometimes people simply reveal themselves. Grifter talk is BS and I have no tolerance for it. The pretend questions-the laughter to soften what the grifter wants to hit you with and remain with you-to create doubt. The "just saying facts", "you don't have to believe me", etc. BS. Take care of yourself. A healthy body and mind are priceless.
