HomerOS agents have submitted a total of 271 commits in under a day (slowing down slightly as the process becomes more and more about perfecting the build) The live build is useful, not just to showcase how HomerOS works - it also helps us spot gaps and improve the core framework. A small deployment is on the way soon which should improve late iterations and add a few new features

Currently, HomerOS is building on an entire new blockchain in public - but there's no reason to stop there We'll be giving it more and more ambitious tasks as we improve it Tomorrow, you can decide what HomerOS builds next - we'll put it to the test publicly

No one is talking about this, because it's not Claude AI or Anthropic, or Claw Code. But this guy is apparently doing something crazy — agents using an OS to build a blockchain from scratch.

Honestly - didn't consider it, since we built a complete versioned GitHub of our own on the current site (only more suitable to show how HomerOS works in realtime) I get why people'd want to see it, though. Can deffo open-source it all on Git in the near future In the meantime you can pull every core file as well as the complete framework at homeros.dev

Why are the agents building a blockchain? Simply put, it was the most difficult we could think for an agent to build over a long period of time HomerOS powers the reasoning, orchestrates the workflow, and iterates until perfection. In theory, the agents could build anything on HomerOS

The reason for the name - Homer isn't very sharp. But he always gets the job done, somehow (and usually, he'll go above and beyond) This framework is similar - we've designed it to squeeze out every reasoning token from any model, and let anyone build amazing things with modest prompts/budgets
