@GarrettArt @eathdemon Pokemon is being kept at the level it’s at because of what type of series it is. The amount of merch and side projects they can do is limitless. Not to mention the very popular card game n such. If it was the games only the series would of died at Sword and Shield lowkey

@Homobound @eathdemon This is all speculation and what-if scenarios. But regular releases is part of what has kept Pokemon at the level it’s been at. Not saying FF needs that level of consistent rollout. But faster than damn-near 7 years would be a decent start.

Thinking about this a lot as I play through the entire series. Many of the 8 & 16-bit games were only a year apart. Memory prices are nightmarish, NVIDIA has abandoned their core customers for a quick buck. Return to lower fidelity graphics. Release more games. TAKE MORE SWINGS.

@eathdemon @GarrettArt At the high risk of low quality, this is not a good trade off in terms of consumer’s happiness but I guess it is in sales but that’s also because it’s POKEMON. Final Fantasy just does not having that kind of selling power.

One of the reasons FF has been struggling, other than the other than a lack of in game consistency, is the absurd amount of time in between releases. These two issues combined will only continue to alienate people rather than familiarize them with what to expect from FF.

as a brazilian i say: portuguese isnt easy, we’ve got sounds that people from outside usually struggle to get right and the pronunciation isnt simple
