4 1/2 yrs ago, we set ourselves goal of engineering a paradigm shift from politics of personalities, tribes to people centred issue based politics. Today, its all about Singapore, Infrastructure Fund, SHA, affordable housing etc Ethnic kingpins are flailing. Another✅? I hope so.

Pessimistic comments about Singapore being a tiny 735 square kilometer city-state incomparable to Kenya should know that Kenya’s first world ambition is modeling on a few more Asian countries besides Singapore. China, a 9.6 million square kilometer mega country of 1.5 billion people (compared to Kenya’s 582, 646 square kilometer area and 55 million people) is almost 17 times larger than Kenya. China’s turning point was 1978, just the other day. In 40 years, it moved from being a poor, isolated country to the first world. Kenya will transition to the first world in our lifetime.

Between 1981 and 2020, in 40 years, China lifted 800 million of its citizens from poverty, accounting for 75% of overall global poverty reduction. That is roughly 200 million people lifted from poverty every 10 years. As of 2022, 20 million people in Kenya, 40% of the total population, live in poverty. It is possible to reduce this number by 10 million every 10 years, making our poverty eradication journey complete in 20 years.

It will not be easy to remove President Ruto from office in 2027. I doubt it will ever happen.

@therealantoh A very prominent African leader once said " when you see the white man smile at me,know that I have betrayed you". Who was this leader and does that opinion still hold water?

WHY SOUTH AFRICANS🇿🇦 ARE MAD AT KENYA CONCERNING RUTO'S VISIT TO USA: South African president Cyril Ramaphosa went through hell in the hands of president Trump in the Oval house in USA. Trump really embarrassed Cyril and South Africans felt humiliated as a country. To add salt to the wound,Trump refused to attend the G20 summit in South Africa recently. However,it has come to the attention of South Africans that Kenyan president Ruto was treated with much respect than expected. Washington DC came at a standstill when Ruto arrived and Trump was so happy to host Ruto. To make matters worse,Trump invited Ruto to the Olympics as a special guest. The good relations between Kenya and USA has annoyed South Africans who thought they were the best in Africa. Kenya has since climbed to number one country in Africa overtaking Nigeria and South Africa after the meeting with Trump. Nigeria is suffering from Terrorism and religious wars.

Some politicians from my community served in senior government positions, including the Defence Ministry, but never did they have a single deserving man or woman from the community rise to the position of Vice CDF in the KDF or even a Service Commander. I think we have to give it to President Ruto for rubbishing the late JJ Kamotho's assertion that Luhya people can only be cooks and watchmen to have Lt. Gen. Omenda become VCDF and Maj. Gen. Waliaula, Commander of the Kenya Airforce.

Saturday Nation are saying when Ruku was appointed CS and his Mbeere North seat fell vacant, Ruto threw a bait for Gachagua, knowing the villager would gleefully bite it. It was around the time the footloose vagabond was touring media houses running his mouth about his perceived Morima dominance. A two-pronged plan was hatched; to set him up with the real voters on the ground, and to test the full extent of his inflammatory tribal rhetoric. Machiavelli says when your opponent is of choleric temper, ensure you make it your life-long ambition to irritate him - pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. And that's precisely what happened when Gachagua hurriedly settled on Duncan Mbui as the DCP candidate without consulting his United Opposition partners. Knowing Gachagua is not a team player and expecting a backlash from the Democratic Party (DP) who were defending their seat, Ruto asked the UDA team in Embu to postpone the naming of their flag bearer a little longer and watch the villager make a series of monumental blunders. Gachagua would later be prevailed upon to drop Mbui in favour of the DP candidate, and that's when the UDA team was told to open the chess board and start lining up the play. After realising he had messed up the chances of his DP allies with his indecisiveness, Gachagua tried to mop up by promising the other United Opposition principals to leave Mbeere North to him and proceed to campaign elsewhere; embarking on a choreographed door-to-door campaign with cameras in tow. By making the Mbeere North contest about him, Gachagua unknowingly walked into another trap that had been laid for him; Duncan Mbui refusing to drop out of the race and settling the scores with the man who had abandoned him at the eleventh hour. Mbui's votes eventually winning the seat for Ruto's team. Saturday Nation would neither confirm nor deny that Ruto is about to convince Mathira MP Eric Wamumbi to take a post in cabinet, taking the war to Gachagua's doorstep in the ensuing by-election - to finish the bruised man once and for all. Someone pass me that bowl of popcorn.

If only social media was a designated polling station... kumbe kwa ground vitu ni tofauti. Meanwhile, let's move forward as one invincible unit. Political competition is like a football match; after the game you congratulate the winner & embrace the looser. 2027 wabiro gi maino

Thursday 27, November 2025 may have just been a rehearsal of what is expected in 2027. The United Opposition seems to be dwelling on insults and character assassination while broad-based government focuses on issues and the real agenda. Wantam can never be election agenda.

@georgediano No,I never removed the solar installations nor did I even know nor meet the philanthropist. If the solar system was removed, then the school adminstration should answer for that.

@georgediano That is not true at all. As the MP,I ensured electricity was supplied to the school and was gratefully for the solar power previously supplied. While it is right to point out any failings on my work when I was the MP,it is worthwhile being factual.

I wasn't surprised to hear that an MP in Turkana sent goons to destroy a classroom built by Eric Omondi & stripped the kids naked for wearing donated uniforms. In Tongaren, the former MP Eseli Simiyu, together with Moses Wetangula, chased away a philanthropist who had installed solar panels meant to supply electricity to Buyofu Primary School and the neighboring community for free. They claimed that the "white man" had not involved them in the project and that he was embarrassing Ford Kenya, which was the ruling party in Bungoma at the time. The county govt took the solar panels & said that they will connect the community with electricity before the month ends. It's now 10yrs since that incident happened, 80% of Tongaren constituency has no access to electricity. This country can make you forget about patriotism.
