I climax my working visit to Japan by exploring two world-class institutions, the National Institute of Technology and the National Institute of Special Needs Education. Inspired by Japan’s innovation, Ghana is committed to establishing our own National Institutes of Technology.

This is aimed at transforming the educational experience for Ghanaian students.

Yesterday, we strengthened our partnership with a ground-breaking collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Japan’s renowned organisation, Life is Tech and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology ( MEXT) of Japan.

Yesterday, I had the distinct honour of attending the 2024 WAEC Distinction Award Ceremony for WASSCE candidates, organised by the West African Examination Council (WAEC). It was a remarkable privilege to celebrate these exceptional young men and women who represent the country.
