I got to know Mark Pope 2 years ago at Battle4Atlantis. He is smart, engaging, confident in who he is and his style of play. He knows that Kentucky jersey well. Like every other coach in the SEC… recruiting will be the ultimate test. He will be embraced by UK fan base. Twitter is not reality …

@BarstoolReags Fair take. I think it’s a win-win for both programs at the end of the day. Any normal fan would agree with rooting against an opponent, regardless of who’s the coach. UK will get their hire, and a good one at that, but restoring the rivalry will be better for college basketball.

I want every coach in the SEC besides UK’s to lose every single game they coach. Cal is now one of them. Until he retires he’s now an enemy. That simple.
