Every millennial Bulls fan in their 30s was quoting every Stacey King catch phrase during the Rose era. Most of us barely remember the Jordan era so a lot of our Bulls fandom lies with that time period. RIP to a legend who helped make being a Bulls fan fun during some of my favorite years.

@fartagaz gateway to self education is exactly what it did for me 10+ years ago and i have never stopped self educating on WWII. Reading every single one of Easy Companies memoirs gave me an even bigger understanding of the campaign as well as an appreciation for the show.

my high school US history class watched the majority of Band of Brothers across a handful of weeks
it’s probably the most historically accurate depiction of WW2, and a great gateway to more self education

@JSlaughterEsq What should also be force fed is Sledge’s Audiobook, “With the Old Breed”, narrated by @MazzelloJoe who played him in the HBO show, “The Pacific”. If you’ve watched the show, it makes the audiobook/memoir even better.
