Just completed an intensive summer AQ course in Special Education through TDSB! Grateful for amazing instructors, Katia and Tanya, centrally assigned Principals. Learned practical strategies like the Tiered Approach, UDI/DI framework, CRRP, ILP, and IEP that I can directly apply.

Two-day summer symposium at the BSS (the Bishop Strachan School) inspired me to rethink, reflect, renew and relearn what was in practice and what needs to change. Inspired by Reggio approach, what are my takeaways through investigations and expressions?

Vermicomposting Harvest Through hands-on learning, students have engaged in entire process - from understanding how red wigglers contribute to composting to sifting and finally harvesting it. This marks an exciting year-long study, as we celebrate the successful harvest.

Who says dried-out markers to go? I repurpose them for watercolor art and outdoor spray art, inspiring my students to embrace creativity and sustainability! Let's reuse, recycle, reduce to combat climate change.

Exploring with loose parts! Excited to see our youngest learners engaged in loose parts play, representing their family structures and identities. Loose parts enrich their environments fostering curiosity and allowing them to create, transform and extend ideas through collage.

Fun Name Art Get ready for an exciting activity that young learners will love! Tape resist word art is a creative way for Kindergarteners to explore their names. Simply tape their names on paper, let them paint over it, and then peel off the tape to reveal their beautiful names!
