In Oct of 2016 my sister was diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer. After 3 brain surgeries, radiation, chemo, infusions and tons of therapy.. she lost her fight on Aug 4th. Almost 8 years with a cancer that most don’t last a year. We were blessed to have those bonus years

@LadyMpire I'm so sorry for the pain you are going through but I'm so proud of you for giving so much of yourself to help your family members enjoy the end of their lives. Take time to take care of yourself too

As I celebrate my birthday today, I remember that last year I had my father and sister and today both are gone. Life is precious, live your best life, enjoy the people in it, celebrate each day and live in the moment 🎂❤️💔

Makeover day out

Been 3 weeks since my spinal surgery and I got to drive today!!

I've been able to stand up using my canes while hubby was nearby for the first time! Still hurts like a bugger but it's a start. I'm trying to remember the neurosurgeon said we're looking at weeks and months of recovery not days.

Surgery went well, today is very painful and I feel super unstable. Tomorrow should be better!

The pre-op physical went fine so I'm frantically finishing up all the things before my spinal surgery Thursday morning! FYI I won't be able to keep up my usual stream schedule as I heal but no worries I'll be back.

@HonneyPlays @HonneyPlays It may seem strange to ask you this, but when you were playing with @pakratt0013 and Anesos blood n' bones how would you aquire tin? I already managed to get Iron pick but I can't mine Tin ore with it (I need pickaxe that has mining level bronze). Bless ya, & getwell

Lost my father on Monday unexpectedly. He was 88, former Marine and thankfully I had dinner with him the night before. Rest well dad.. Semper Fi!

In other exciting news. @itsjess944 and I have been engaged far too long and just haven’t had time to figure out specifics. So tomorrow we are headed to the courthouse to make it official! We plan to still do something with friends and family that’s more fun than the legal part.

Had a lot of fun playing with clay last night. I think I might try making some charms etc. with clay I can bake to set.
