Congratulations to Sergeant Derek Steines on being selected as our 2025 Deputy of the Year! Sgt. Steines has served the LCSO for 18 years and is currently assigned as a supervisor in our Communications Division. He is also active on our Mobile Field Force & Drone Teams.

Congratulations to Chad Shover! He was recently promoted to Captain and will serve as the Assistant Jail Administrator in the Linn County Correctional Center. Captain Shover, a 25-year veteran of the Sheriff's Office, was previously a jail commander.
