Even when regular US equity markets are closed, NVDA’s on-chain price can still move. This chart shows NVDA price history pulled from on-chain snapshots every 15 minutes via Chainlink. You’ll notice a clear jump during the shaded “markets closed” period. That’s because Chainlink’s 24/5 equity streams include post-market and overnight data, not just the regular 9:30–16:00 ET session. Supply of the stock tokens and their prices can (and do) change outside normal market hours. On hoodgrow.com you can watch every single one of those changes in real time, all read directly from the chain, no UI middleman.

I've been building @HoodGrow as a solo side project ever since @RobinhoodCrypto Chain launched. At first I planned to focus purely on yields, but that stopped feeling niche pretty quickly. Once I started digging into the stock market side of things, I realized it’s a complete shitshow. There’s so much you actually need to know if you’re going to invest in these assets - corporate actions, market hours, and a bunch of other moving parts that can catch you off guard. Corporate actions (stock splits, reverse splits, dividends, mergers, spin-offs, etc.) change the value and quantity of your holdings overnight. A split can suddenly multiply your tokens while the price drops proportionally, a reverse split does the opposite, and dividends get reinvested through the on-chain multiplier. If you’re not tracking the uiMultiplier (we do) and pending changes in real time, your balances, prices, and risk calculations can be completely wrong. On top of that, U.S. equity markets aren’t 24/7 - they close overnight, on weekends, and during holidays. During those periods prices freeze, oracles can pause, and liquidity dries up. Missing any of this can lead to bad trades, failed liquidations, or just pure confusion. HoodGrow.com puts all of it in one clean dashboard so you can actually see what’s going on.
