@mikeyhg @kevinluff @MartinSLewis @KemiBadenoch I changed role in June of that year and have fluctuated salary sacrifice contributions which slightly altered month to month but over the year I should have paid £378 roughly, £496 was in total taken. Now told I can’t reclaim this excess as my income was above threshold.

@kevinluff @Hoolaholic @MartinSLewis @KemiBadenoch But if you are already earning an annual salary over the threshold then any bonus on top of that is the same as a pay increase and subject to the marginal 9% no? The complication would only happen if basic salary is below threshold and bonus paid in one month incurs the full 9% ?

Pleased to say @KemiBadenoch has kindly invited me to go and meet her to discuss Student Loans later today. I'm looking forward to a useful policy discussion and thankful for the opportunity to make something positive come out of this, after an inauspicious start (by me).
PS I have also requested to discuss Student Finance with the Chancellor (where the key focus is the unfair freeze on Plan 2 repayment thresholds coming next April)

@aoxVGC @MartinSLewis @KemiBadenoch Not for me. Been told I cannot claim the overpayment through the complaints escalation process.

@Hoolaholic @MartinSLewis @KemiBadenoch They are? I had an email from student loans last year saying i had overpaid. Turns out i had contributed overpayments on multiple years and got about £430 refunded back
English

@MartinSLewis @kevinluff @KemiBadenoch In my example, I paid £496 - yet should have paid £388 for the year based on my annual income above the threshold (27% extra) I have been told I cannot claim this back because I earned above(just- because of bonus) the threshold. I understand minor, but it will happen every yr!

Pelle Mattsson has put in another unreal performance today. Since Philippe Clement has come in he's been like a man possessed, chasing everything out of possession to help complement his ability on the ball, brilliant to see him improving #ncfc
