@CardosiCustoms ah yeah thats entirely fair. and i imagine most cases people would just use phob firmware on it anyway, this is just for other cases and i was just wondering what the support could possibly be for it 🤞🙏

@HoonGoons HOJA, I believe, works on a Phob. I was more just saying idk if you can use the Phob firmware and have it be USB out, someone would likely need to modify the firmware so it can be something other than GCC out. I'm not a software guy, so I'm not sure what is or isn't possible tbh.

@CardosiCustoms i would also imagine it could maybe work with the hoja firmware at that point too (the firmware for the progcc and gc ultimate controllers) but maybe not, but that would also probably require it to have the usb c port on there rather than just a cable soldered in

@CardosiCustoms og motherboard at the end of the day and limiting because of that. this would cut out needing an adapter entirely. some other firmwares have support for gcn tho (like joypad) but i cant attest to how those are like. my uses are solely for using it off the wii itself LOLLL

@CardosiCustoms unfortunate, how hard would it be to edit it into being compatible with a regular usb cable (by you or if someone else wanted to do it)? i am thankful everything is still being included tho, like the minus and home buttons, so functionality is not at all lost

@HoonGoons It's going to be a GCC cable only, so you'll still need to use an adapter if playing on anything aside from a GameCube or Wii.

@CardosiCustoms if its also possible for it to support regular usb cables instead of a gcn or wii connector that would also be fantastic, as i use mine thru an adapter anyway 👀👀👀👀

@N4pstr @MitchHHL unsure if it works with the defaults tho. joypad specifically has support for gcn stuff while santroller can deal with wii classic controllers, so the sticks could potentially be fucked up due to losing features of og firmware. also cant attest for joypad but i can for santroller

@N4pstr @MitchHHL theoretically you can maybe flash other firmware onto the gc ultimate due to it being rp2040 hardware by using firmware like santroller or joypad as those have support for x360 controllers with the auth keys

got two new records for simpsons game ng+ today, a 45:09 and then currently the latest of 43:26! can still go down much lower, as this was just barely 42 pace, but im excited now thanks to the future of the two debug triggers in bshffg and 5char saving so much time

il record before this was 4:14.82, now its a 1:33.54. the history of this level in particular was always crazy, but now it seems like it's the closure of this story as this is pretty much the last significant discovery for this level. o7 bshffg 🫡🫡🫡🫡

the very infamous airship section in the anime level of the simpsons game has finally been defeated, as it turns out all you really need to do is just hit a very precise launch to hit a debug trigger. it saves 3 minutes if you get it first try. this game is not real
