We are urging the Government to let pubs in England trade as off licences during lockdown to save our locals.
Lockdown rules mean that pubs can only sell alcohol via home delivery & not through a collection service as in previous lockdowns.

The vast majority of pubs didn't abuse the system, data shows they didn't spread the virus, operated safely when open. Street drinking allowed by a few, now illegal. Govt, if you truly understand the historic community value of pubs, allow takeaway alcohol sales/sealed containers

@Hop77micropub @leftluggageroom I believe the restricted businesses list is defined by property usage classification So yes we have an off licence but because we are A4 drinking establishment & not A1 retail it means we can be delivery only

Thanks to all that visited last night and apologies to those that couldn't get in. We are able to sell alcohol during lockdown if pre-ordered by phone, online (or post!) but you will not be able to enter the pub to collect. We'll be open Sat for take away. More details to follow
