Hope College women's soccer standout Olivia Dieppa has been selected as the MIAA Senior Sportswoman of the Year, honoring her remarkable combination of athletic excellence, academic achievement, and community service. With the season on the line, goalkeeper Clara Feenstra and forward Ainsley Harris trusted their instincts and training to deliver when the Hope College women's soccer team needed them most. An elite eight represent Hope College on the 2025 All-@MIAA1888 Women's Soccer Team. The Flying Dutch claimed five first-team honorees: defenders Olivia Dieppa and Adelyn Raad, goalkeeper Clara Feenstra, and forwards Ainsley Harris and Lina Rea. Adelyn Raad shone brightly for the Hope College women's soccer team on a sunny Tuesday afternoon at Van Andel Soccer Stadium. The sophomore defender recorded two more assists during a 4-0 victory against Saint Mary's College in the regular-season finale, moving within striking distance of the Flying Dutch's single-season record. Two Hope College sophomores have been selected as MIAA Athletes of the Week: defender Adelyn Raad in women’s soccer and midfielder Benjamin Smitley in men’s soccer. This is the second time this season—and in her career—that Raad has received the MIAA’s weekly defensive honor. It is the first such honor for Smitley.
