Sweating out the week’s stress and boosting good vibes with teammates, we kicked off the weekend with an aerobic session for our staff. Beginning with warm‑ups and flowing into upbeat cardio bursts synchronized with side‑steps and fun dance moves, the workout was fun‑filled.

Our Incubation session continued yesterday with a focus on helping teams draft business plans for their ventures. Teams actively applied what they had learned, refining their concepts, analyzing market opportunities, and outlining key strategies to scale their businesses.

Last week, the @NSEN_Network held a two-day training as part of its bi-monthly capacity-building program for members. The training focused on environmental policies and advocacy, industry regulations, and the vital role creatives can play in promoting sustainability.

Today, we unveil another outstanding mentor with years of experience as an entrepreneur and a beneficiary of the HOPin Business Incubation program. Bernice Beliebe Shaibu Waale is the co-founder of Demipearl Company Limited, a thriving business in the agricultural value chain.

We took a practical turn in yesterday’s session, beginning with a Digi-Snack where participants learnt about Google Forms for Business. In the second part of the session, participants presented their Impact Business Model Canvas and received direct feedback from a panel.

Today, we discussed what cash flow is and why it plays a crucial role in the success of a business. The facilitator also introduced the profit or loss statement, highlighting that cash inflow, cash outflow, and opening cash balance are three essential tools for any entrepreneur.

Earlier today, we hosted an online session to introduce the startups to their respective mentors as we enter the mentorship phase of the Business Incubation Program. Each startup has been paired with a dedicated mentor who brings relevant experience to guide them.
