These blockades have been in effect for years before President Trump took office, where were you years ago while the Cubans were suffering? What is wrong with you people? You are staying in a high priced hotel, food available, lights run by generator, no connection to the real people in Cuba. You bring what you thik are supplies to hel[ but they have to be given to the government and hope that the government passes those gifts on. You are far removed from the reality of the people in Cuba. America has welcomed the folks desperate enough to make the trip to Florida in any kind of boat they can use. And I haven't seen many folks who have wanted to make the trip back to Cuba. This whole trip is disingenuous, and really out of line. You do not represent the government, and I am sure the government is NOT happy with you sticking your nose where it does not belong!

No they are not, President Lincoln paid reperations to freed slaves after the Civil War, the debt is paid in full. And, how about all the money the Black community has received through welfare, medicade, food stamps, housing vouchers, free education and preferences in hiring. My mother's people came over on the Mayflower and lived in Boston until the 1920's and we never owned slaves, so why should I have to pay anything? African tribal leaders in Africa sold Africans to Spanish slave traders before the Civil war. However, there were many white people sold into slavery in the far east, slavery was common through out the world. President Lincole believed slavery was wrong so worked to abolish it.
