Mitch Johnson spoke about the free throw disparity for OKC from game 4 to game 5, he acknowledged how SA committed fouls in the second quarter that just wasn't necessary...
"Fouls or not we need to be more aware of when we're in the bonus and so they got some free throws where they weren't in an advantage at the moment, or we weren't in a bad spot or out of position...The overly physical stuff, if you give the ref the opportunity to call it and now someone gets free throws and didn't really have to work to get to that"

@ShamsCharania@ESPNNBA For a player that’s only been in the league for two years, he thinks he’s entitled and going to save the league and call all the shots.
@NBAOfficial You are going to start losing fans, clicks, tv viewers and ultimately money with all this garbage job you have been doing. No one outside of OKC likes this garbage product.
Mason Plumlee’s (SAS) foul against Jared McCain (OKC) at 1:39 of the 4th quarter in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals on 5/26/26 has been upgraded to a Flagrant 1 after league review.

James Talarico is getting a lot of media attention lately, and Democrats seem convinced he could flip a Senate seat in Texas.
Does he actually have a real chance to win?
@DuhThunduh ?
Where did I say anything about "undisciplined?"
I'm simply want OKC fans to stfu about fouls & stop acting like the country is conspiring against them.
I literally never said the team was "undisciplined."
I'm sick of seeing OKC fans say stuff like:
"OKC is near the bottom in FTAs"
That's not a good argument.
They shouldnt be "near the bottom," they should be LAST.
And given the amount of physicality they're allowed, they shouldnt have a positive PFD/PF differential.
But they do.
Yeah I’m out man the Thunder and whatever ref show happening right now is genuinely making the NBA playoffs unwatchable. Spurs are such a fun watch and the entire flow of the game is being ruined from phantom foul calls and then just straight up missed ones. How do you not give Mitch Johnson the challenge there? How do you not call that a goal tending?
@Rate_the_Refs All he had to do is call timeout. It’s not the referees fault, they gave him plenty of time and all he did was waggle his finger. Call timeout first
Maybe the single most egregiously officiated game I’ve ever seen…
Made this little compilation from last nights Thunder/Spurs game of all the calls that went OKC’s way courtesy of @Rate_the_Refs.
I’m still baffled. Each one is worse than the previous. What is the @NBA doing?
Shannon Sharpe GOES OFF on the refs in OKC vs Spurs game 5 😳
“I thought the officials had a bad stretch. That was a goaltending. How did they miss that? THE BALL WENT OFF CHET FOOT. HOW DO YOU MISS THAT? AND THE REF TRYING TO GET A CHALLENGE AND Y’ALL LIKE WHAT? NO, COME ON. YOU CAN’T MISS THAT. Now, in international rules, you can goaltending off the rim. But you can’t do that in the NBA. Look, I understand both of them got size 30 shoes. One got a boat, the other got a yacht, but the ball went off Chet foot. IT DID.”

@bkwright121 The problem is if your honest, they gave him ever opportunity to CALL A TIMEOUT and he never did. He wagged his finger and never called a time out.
I’ll say for all Spurs fans nationwide. NBA refs and especially Tony Brothers fix games and favor OKC. Mitch asks for a timeout to challenge and Brothers ignores him and then Mitch gets T’d up. This is beyond ridiculous NBA officials. Do better Adam Silver!
"The way they guard, how physical they are, we don't get that same luxury to be able to play as physical on the other end at times.”

(h/t @ohnohedidnt24)
@NooneLovesNunz@TheHoopCentral@ohnohedidnt24 That’s what happens when they let you maul them one game and cut it off the next.
Shows how bad you are when you have to play by the rules
@TheHoopCentral@ohnohedidnt24 This is such a shame for the league.
I’m glad Castle is actually calling it out because too many people are scared to say it publicly. We need more more people including Tv Analysts to honestly speak out. I repeat, nobody is ever going to fully respect OKC titles from this era.
🔵 Talarico has a 49% chance to flip Texas and bring his party close to a Senate majority in November (Polymarket)
He will be the first Democrat in 38 years to represent Texas if he wins
