In India #Spiderman:NWH is available on Prime Video currently. 2.39 Scope Aspect Ratio throughout. I think Bravia Core would have IMAX 1.90 version that too at 80Gb File Size.

Hate to break it but this is a HUGE competition for #Ramayana in overseas market, just to grab screens. Both are releasing on 6 November. Godzilla is global, many would be inclined to give IMAX screens to it. Really wishing the best to @malhotra_namit on how he plays his cards.

@rohithklv 5ch setup usually have larger and powerful speakers, allowing more chest thumping sound. I have seen Interstellar in Priya imax but I enjoyed it more in Lucknow IMAX, same thing with F1.

Am I the only one who liked 5ch audio more than 12ch at IMAX?

@shruwdshru There are not enough movies that could utilise the format. This year I am only aware of 3 movies, that are in 1.43 and one of them wasn't even shot using IMAX 70mm cameras. Which is not enough to sustain 70mm IMAX theatres.

4th largest economy in the world and not a single 70mm IMAX screen in sight

@PicturesPVR @IMAX Please fix the IMAX dual projection at Pallasio, Lucknow. Most of the 2D shows are misaligned and blurry. Turning off 1 projector helps reducing blur but it also reduces brightness. This is the only IMAX in our region—please resolve.

@jammypants4 The vocals were actually the worst part of the trailer.

ARR is getting dragged a lot because some of his mid work recently (Chhaava in particular) but I believe his vocals and score for the Lord Rama glimpse was one of the best aspects of what was released today.

@ravishar313 PHM was a good movie, but not good enough to launch a smear campaign against Dhurandhar2. Indians should have been more supportive for an Indian movie.

Can I say something without people being mad? Dhurandhar 2 was better than Project Hail Mary.

@Memeswalaladka Honestly, it was irritating to see cinephiles cry so much for PHM IMAX release.I saw it, the expanded ratio doesn’t add much to the film. IMAX has more seating, and an Indian movie should’ve prioritised those screens, especially while making a mark globally.

For the last two days, I’ve been seeing several posts on Instagram about the IMAX screening of Project Hail Mary. Honestly, I have no issue with that. If you’re a Hollywood cinephile, you’re free to complain, but blaming Dhurandhar 2 for IMAX screen allocation doesn’t make sense. The obsession with comparing everything to Hollywood needs to stop. Dhurandhar 2 is a masterclass in the spy genre, and it even forced a global franchise to shift its release dates. That itself shows the power of Indian cinema, so give credit where it’s due. If Indian cinemas are prioritizing Indian films, especially for IMAX screens, what’s the issue? Every country supports its own industry first. Even if it’s a US film, the priority should always be local cinema; there’s nothing wrong with that. Yes, Project Hail Mary is a good film and deserves IMAX screens, but if theatres are already booked due to the demand for Dhurandhar 2, postponing isn’t unreasonable. Calling it a propaganda film is also a stretch. I’ve even seen comments quoting “once Satyajit Ray said we have a fairly backward audience”, like seriously? Just because people are supporting films from their own country, you label them as a backward audience? There’s nothing wrong with audiences backing their own cinema. At the end of the day, blaming Dhurandhar 2 for IMAX availability doesn’t make sense; it’s simply the most awaited film, and the demand speaks for itself.
