@HertzUK Yeah got there eventually. Fortunately the AA man was very helpful (and quick). Credit also to the guys at your Guildford station location the next day, for helping get it all sorted.

@Horler_VF Hi Mark, I am very sorry to hear of delay you experience with our roadside assistance team. Did you manage to get the issue resolved? Thanks Sarah

Today on BBC Future, I ask @natalia_falagan, @Horler_VF and Laura Vickers what would happen if we grew all our food indoors. In theory, there isn't much stopping us growing vertical apple orchards in inner cities – and there are benefits to trying bbc.com/future/article…

Very pleased to have contributed to this article, along with the brilliant Laura Vickers, and pleased for the mentions of @Zoe_M_Harris & the @TAEDATech project. So nice to have a chance to look at the big questions!

...and then of course there's the controversial bit, about the harms of animal ag. But I thought these were well argued. Overall, a powerful contribution to the debate between, and integration of land sparing and land sharing. Definitely recommended reading.

Some of the stuff about soil ecology was very surprising and I learned a great deal. Equally, I was very interested to read the bits about microbial fermentation.

Just finished reading @GeorgeMonbiot's Regenesis. Very interesting and worthwhile read, full of fascinating things. Disappointed though by the short, flippant and honestly slightly lazy dismissall of urban & vertical farming. Still, well worth a read though.
