My super strong parenting opinion is do whatever it takes you to remain at least partially sane while getting them to age 18 and out of the house without a criminal record and then make a cocktail for both of you and sit back and count the money you now have as a result, sell the house, pocket that cash too and move without giving the kids the new address!
But that’s just me….

My super strong parenting opinion is that this kind of thinking keeps people from having kids and destroys the marriages of many people who do.
Your marriage matters; you matter, and reminding yourself of these facts ultimately makes your family a happier place for everyone... including the kids.

My super strong parenting opinion is that while the kids are awake, you come last. No spending all of Saturday golfing. That’s family time. 6 am tee time only, maybe. Wanna go to the gym? Go after the kids go to bed, or wake up at 5. In a few short years, they’ll be out of the house and you’ll have all the time in the world for your own stuff. It’s okay to come last for a while.
