@docsavage3214 @ziziofthedead Indeed. The media were all over it, calling for it to be banned, or even destroyed. 😁 A bit like the video nasty panic in the '80s. All very silly when you look back at it now.

@docsavage3214 @ziziofthedead That's Spooky because I have exactly the same experience, only it was my Brother who had just been to see it. My other sibling was deeply affected by this movie. He would not go upstairs alone for a long time.

@HorrorSlices @ziziofthedead It's a special place in my heart, as I can remember my Mum telling me all the horrifying details after she'd just seen it. I think I was 8 or 9😱And the anticipation when I 1st rented it from Radio Rentals...And how it didn't disappoint🖤

@docsavage3214 @ziziofthedead I can't think of anything that matches the sheer shock and horror that this movie emits. Russell's The Devils came close, but for me personally, this will always be at the top of my list.

I couldn't think of a movie that could hold my suspension of disbelief more, oh Texas Chainsaw....comes close come to think of it.🍷🍷😊Actually might need a little more thought.😉

The Pit (1981) A solitary and strange preteen boy wreaks revenge on his harassers when he makes a disturbing discovery in the depth of a forest. A bonkers oddity from Lew Lehman with some controversial scenes as the young rascal spies on naked women. 😁
