FIRE WEATHER UPDATE: The SCFC is expecting very dry air and increased winds following the front that passed through SC yesterday that will impact fire weather for Wednesday and Thursday. A very dry air mass will be pushing into the state, bringing relative humidity values down to the low 20s with sustained winds of 10-12 mph and gusts that could reach 20. After Thursday, relative humidity should begin to increase and winds will moderate; Friday temperatures will be much cooler and in the lower 40s and upper 30s. Please use extreme caution if you burn outdoors during this time, and consider postponing outdoor burning if possible. If you do burn outdoors, be aware that the fire weather for today and tomorrow will make it easier for your fire to escape. CURRENT WILDFIRES IN SC: scfc.firesponse.com/public/
