@BeckAdlington Depends how fast you can swim breaststroke! Plenty of our junior members can swim breaststroke a lot faster than “fast” adult swimmers doing freestyle….

Can you settle something for me… just gone for a swim at the local public pool. Do you think you should be allowed to swim in the fast lane if you can only swim breaststroke? (And no it wasn’t Adam Peaty)

With restrictions starting to be eased, there is a lot for sport and activity providers to consider. We’ve released advice, guidance and resources to help you ‘return to play’ safely as soon as government allow it.

Surely it’s safer for fit, young athletes to swim in a heavily chlorinated pool than for adults to get drunk in a pub where social distancing will go out of the window?! @BorisJohnson @Swim_England

Hey @BorisJohnson can you let me know why it’s ok for pubs to open so adults can get a drink when we can’t reopen for our fit, healthy and young members where we can control social distancing? I need to explain it to our members. @Swim_England
