Repair Cafe Horwich

Another very busy afternoon yesterday with a wildly varied repair haul. Great teamwork everyone!

Quick reminder, there will be no December repair café in Horwich. We're having a well earned break!

In return you will receive unlimited tea, coffee and homemade cake, and an overwhelming sense of achievement 😊

Do you get an immense sense of satisfaction when you get something fixed? Do you have experience in repairing small electrical items or PAT testing? If so, would you like to join our friendly team and spend a couple of hours one afternoon a month fixing things?

Sometimes it's just the battery compartment that needs a bit of an expert clean - happy days 🥰

Our fabulous sewing team can repair almost anything - clothes, toys, school uniform, bedding, cushion covers, bags, hats, gloves, etc, etc. They've even repaired underwear, but only if it's clean!

This adorable 62 year old teddy bear came in to the repair cafe after having an unfortunate encounter with an over-exuberant dog. Patched up and with a brand new eye (brought in by his owner) he's now ready for another 62 years of adventures!🧸🪡🧵

Last month a little lad came in for a bike repair and ended up with a bonus a cycling lesson! He returned on Saturday with a lovely handmade card for Paul to say thank you 🥰💓
