@HostiFi How hard is it to migrate customers to UniFi OS? I'm guessing the process looks something like a backup, shutdown, replace, restore from backup

Reilly here and I'm taking over our socials, you'll be hearing from me directly this year So you can expect some edgier stuff I'm going back to our regularly scheduled content of antagonizing Pera and highlighting Ubiquiti's flaws in order to contrast them with the level of service we provide at HostiFi Let's kick things off with this post from Pellis about his 900 device server on UI Official Hosting Quick summary and a couple of highlights • Was self-hosting, had issues, asked for support, was told to purchase UI Official Hosting • Bait and switched at check out - "$29/month up to 1,000 devices!" is advertised but actual price is $99/month for over 100 devices • Migrated his 900 device UniFi server • Server crashes a few days later • Tech on site with a customer unable to complete an install • No help from Ubiquiti support for 4 days (unclear if they ever fixed his server) • He posts on the community • Ubiquiti team replies 6 hours later saying they'll have someone look at it • OP posts the next day that it's been 5 days and still nothing from support • He tries to migrate away but they hold the DNS record hostage so he has to migrate one site at a time using the site migration wizard • Ubiquiti team locks the thread and disables replies 😂 You can't make this stuff up!
